The last 2 weeks have been crazy and I do mean CRAZY.

First off  I went  to Las Vegas for a Optical show, Left early on Thursday Oct.1st and even though I only live 4 hours away for me to be gone for 2 days is huge. My kids were great they took care of my mom who is 85 and needs daily help. (she lives alone). I will say she is a trooper, She was happy I was getting away but in every same breath she kept saying please be careful don't get hurt , but have FUN.

I haven't been to Vegas in such a long time and boy has it changed. Busy Busy Busy. I didn't know so many people could come out of the wood work. The optical show was great even though we didn't learn anything new but it was fun to see some of the new eyewear coming out . Beautiful and stunning , we can't wait to get  some of the new frames we ordered.

Work has been very busy and as we feel very lucky that we have been steady in business but it's still hard on a 3 girl optical shop. Our  Boss is grateful for all we do  and  I'm sure thats why he sent us to Vegas to de stress.

Today being Saturday and I made myself a PROMISE to get caught up on Blogs and Email and of course watch some Football and Baseball Playoffs and eat things I normally would not.

Doesn't that sound like a perfect day.

I might even fit in working on Photoshop since it is so hard and I'm having alittle trouble understanding this new program.

Today I've been trying to take a little time for myself . Working on Photoshop cs4 which is Harder then Hell and watching the Us tennis open. Both kids are gone until this evening. Janae is at work and Eddie is at a vollyball tourney.. I took care of Mom earlier and she agree's I need some much needed Me Time !!

This has been a rough week.

Took Mom to the doctor and she has lost 24 LBS . The Doctor feels that this is normal for someone who has had a trauma to her system , I know she is 85 but I hate to see her this way. This week I have been going to her everyday and sometimes twice a day bringing her dinner and trying like hell to get her to eat.

Thank God she has a sense of humor.. we have been doing alot of laughing about hwants them fixedow after work I'm so tried that I still haven't fixed her glasses.  She asked me to quit working  so hard but work a little harder on fixing her glasses or picking out a new pair we both had to laugh. To think I must have 1000 pairs of glasses in the shop from Dior to chanel to Gucci and I just got Pucci..and lets not forget good old Prada. and Fendi..With all those  designer Glasses  she loves her glasses and just wants them fixed.. Oh to be 85 and not care about  anything except waking up the next day.

Today is Friday and I'm getting my Photoshop CS4 Extended ..at least thats what UPS is saying..

My new Nikon D90 is Screaming for it , I hope the installing of this program is smooth sailing..So if anyone has any hints Please share..

I'll update Saturday..If you don't hear from me it could mean CS4 got the best of me...LOL
